Welcome to your Meal Planner! This template allows you to plan your weekly meals by linking recipes directly from your recipe database, helping you stay organized and save time when deciding what to cook. Below is a guide to help you use the Meal Planner efficiently.

How to Use the Meal Planner

1. Adding Meals to the Planner

Plan your meals by linking your saved recipes to each day of the week.

  1. Click on the Meal Type: Start by clicking on the Meal row (Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner) for the day you want to plan.

  2. Link a Recipe:

This ensures that each meal is linked to a detailed recipe for easy reference during the week.

2. Resetting the Weekly Planner

Each week, you can clear your existing meal plan and start fresh using the Reset Meals button.

  1. Click on “Reset Meals”: At the top of the planner, there’s a button labeled “Reset Meals.” Click it to clear the previous week’s plan.

  2. Start Fresh: Once reset, you can begin planning for the new week by linking recipes to each day and meal slot again.

3. Viewing Your Weekly Meals

The Weekly Meals table displays all planned meals for each day of the week across Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner:

  1. Link Recipes by Day: Simply scroll through the week and check which recipes you’ve planned for each meal.

  2. Easily Update: If you want to change a meal for any day, just click into the field, delete the current recipe, and link a new one.
